NAIROBI - Kenya coach Francis Kimanzi has signed a one-year extension to his contract and will lead the country in the final phase of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, the newly formed Football Kenya Limited said on Thursday. Kimanzi, 32, who also coached Mathare United to the league title last month, helped Kenya to an unexpected second place finish in their first round group. The world governing body FIFA had previously suspended Kenya after government interference in the soccer federation's affairs.
