Lacombe named new Monaco coach

PARIS - Guy Lacombe was appointed Monaco manager on Tuesday, the Ligue 1 club said.

"Guy Lacombe has signed a two-year contract and becomes the new Monaco coach," Monaco said on their website.

Lacombe, 53, at Stade Rennes last season, replaces Ricardo who left Monaco by mutual consent at the end of the season.

He will be replaced at Rennes by former Nice coach Frederic Antonetti, the Britanny club said on their website.

Antonetti and Nice had agreed to part company earlier this month.
