Levski Sofia handed home ban after crowd trouble

SOFIA - Champions Levski Sofia have been given one-match home ban by the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) following crowd trouble during their league match against Litex Lovech last Wednesday.

Litex officials sitting in the Georgi Asparuhov stadium's main stand were pelted with bottles and stones by Levski fans with objects also thrown onto the pitch.

The Sofia-based club, who received a home ban earlier this season, were also fined 11,000 levs ($8,481).
