Livorno set up Cup clash at Inter

MILAN - Lithuania striker Tomas Danilevicius netted late to give Livorno a 2-1 comeback win at Sampdoria on Tuesday and set up an Italian Cup last 16 tie with Inter Milan.

Samp, beaten by Genoa in Saturday's derby, took the lead early in the second half through Daniele Mannini but Serie A strugglers Livorno stormed back thanks to Stefano Lucchini's own goal and Danilevicius's winner four minutes from time.

Triestina beat Serie B rivals Sassuolo 1-0 in the day's other tie to secure a trip to AS Roma in the pre-drawn next round, when the big Serie A sides enter the competition.

Catania host second tier Empoli on Wednesday in the final tie of the fourth round with the one-leg last 16 matches taking place over December and January.
