MILAN - Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho called his side a work in progress on Tuesday in comparison to their experienced Champions League opponents Barcelona.
Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to Inter for the first time since his close season move in Wednesday's Group F fixture while Milan's Samuel Eto'o faces his former side alongside a host of players making their European debuts.
"Barcelona are a team that have played together for a long time with the addition of only two new players," Mourinho told a news conference.
"We start the match with five players who only just arrived and we are a team under construction. This is the reality but I don't want to think that they are favourites."
Mourinho said Inter's Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso was poised to take a place on the bench after making a quick recovery from a month out due to knee surgery.
