Real to decide over Xabi or Cesc swoop

With the Bernabeu club set for presidential elections in June, a flurry of transfer speculation involving the la Liga heavyweights is expected as prospective applicants attempt to sway the voters with promises of stellar signings.

And FIFA registered agent Bronzetti has revealed that this presidential election is likely to be no different, with sweeping changes in the Spanish capital on the cards.

“Real Madrid are set to make an important decision. Whether to go for Cesc Fabregas or Xabi Alonso," he said on his personal website.

“There will be a lot of talk about which playmaker would be best, but one of them will end up playing for Madrid.

“The club will also look to let lots of players go as they end a cycle with Cannavaro, Van der Vaart, Guti, Van Nistelrooy and Robben all leaving.”

And the Italian believes Chelsea will be undergoing a similar transformation during the close-season.
