Romario to feature for father's favourite team

RIO DE JANEIRO - Former Brazil striker Romario is set to come out of retirement to play for his late father's favourite team America-RJ, the former Brazil striker said on Wednesday. "I'll play for a few minutes in one or two matches for America. It's a way I've found of realising a dream my father had," the 43-year-old told reporters. The former Barcelona striker, who retired early last year after claiming he had scored 1,000 goals in his career, took on an administrative role at America this year to try to revive the struggling club, now languishing in the Carioca (Rio de Janeiro state) second division.
