Schmidt satisfied with Leverkusen stalemate

Monchengladbach came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw in Leverkusen, as the two sides edged into third and fourth in the Bundesliga respectively - level on 24 points - courtesy of losses to Augsburg (24) and Schalke (23).

Schmidt claimed his men were aggressive - they opened the scoring through Hakan Calhanoglu in the 18th minute - and said he was not disappointed, despite missing the chance to break the backlog for spots inside the UEFA Champions League spots.
