Senna set to sit out Spain qualifiers

MADRID - Spain midfielder Marcos Senna is a doubt for the World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Estonia next week after he was forced to abandon Villarreal's match against Osasuna on Sunday with a muscle problem.

Senna had only just returned to the Villarreal side after he was sidelined in April with a separate muscle injury and lasted just 26 minutes of the 1-1 La Liga draw in Pamplona.

Villarreal said on their website the Brazilian-born 33-year-old would join up with the Spain squad on Tuesday for tests by the national team's doctors.
