Sessegnon reveals English interest

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Stephane Sessegnon says he is being targeted by a string of Premier League clubs this summer.

The 25-year-old made 32 league appearances for PSG last season - netting five times - having arrived from Le Mans, who he featured for on more than 60 occasions.

And the Benin international's form has reportedly led to several English clubs, believed to include Arsenal, Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea, weighing up moves for his services during the summer transfer window.

According to Sessegnon, the latter have already contacted his agent over a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

However, he insists he is happy to stay in the French capital for now, with the diminutive middle-man currently under contract until 2012.

“Chelsea contacted my agent, but Chelsea is not the only club after me there are other Premier League clubs as well,” he said.

“It is true I have contacts with clubs interested in me, but PSG is my club, I have a contract until 2012 and I am in talks with them.”
