Sofia sell duo to Alania Vladikavkaz

SOFIA - CSKA Sofia have agreed to sell Bulgarian internationals Ivan Ivanov and Ivan Stoyanov to Russian Premier League newcomers Alania Vladikavkaz, the Sofia-based club said.

Defender Ivanov, 22, signed a four-year contract while Alania, Russian champions in 1995, secured 26-year-old midfielder Stoyanov's signature on a three-year deal.

CSKA president Dimitar Borisov said Alania paid $3 million for Ivanov (pictured) and $1.2 million for Stoyanov.

CSKA, who are second in the domestic league after the first half of the season, have been busy on the transfer market since the appointment of Romanian coach Ioan Andone last month.
