ROTTERDAM - Second-half goals from Rydell Poepon and Kevin Strootman earned Sparta Rotterdam a 2-1 derby win over Feyenoord in a Dutch league match that had three players sent off.
Andre Bahia gave Feyenoord the lead just before the interval on Sunday with a close-range header but after Sekou Cisse's 51st-minute red card Sparta regained control.
Feyenoord's Jon Dahl Tomasson was also sent off two minutes after Erik Falkenburg set up Poepon for Sparta's equaliser.
Poepon (pictured) collected his second booking after 69 minutes but with six minutes to play, Strootman sealed the match with a long drive.
Steve McClaren's Twente Enschede, 3-2 winners over AZ Alkmaar on Saturday, are top of the league with 26 points after 10 matches, two ahead of PSV Eindhoven, who beat Heerenveen 1-0.
Ajax Amsterdam are third with 23 points after their 4-0 win over Willem II Tilburg, while Feyenoord remain fourth with 20.comments
