Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart have revealed they are in talks over securing highly-rated defender Serdar Tasci on a new long-term contract. The 22-year-old German, who accumulated seven international caps over the past year, is believed to be a target for Arsenal, AC Milan and Juventus. And with interest in Tasci high, Stuttgart are desperate to tie their star defender down to a new deal to fend off interest from abroad. With his current contract set to expire at the end of next season, the club are yet to agree a new one to secure his services until 2013. However, chairman Erwin Staudt has revealed the club are working to rectify that situation. "We are in talks with the management of Serdar," he told Stuttgarter Zeitung. "Serdar is a Stuttgart player and we are confident he is going to stay a Stuttgart player for quite some time."
