Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has completed the signing of Paraguay captain Paulo Da Silva from Mexican club Toluca, the Premier League club said on Monday. "He is captain of his country and has played at the highest level in South America so will bring leadership qualities to our side," Bruce told the club's website. The 29-year-old former Perugia and Venezia central defender, who has been capped over 50 times by his country, has signed a three-year contract.
