Switzerland international striker Alexander Frei has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of three clubs who have enquired about his availability. The 29-year-old Borussia Dortmund front-man, who has netted 37 times for his country, has made more than 60 league appearances for Dortmund since arriving from Stade Rennes in 2006.
However, he has become frustrated this season due to a lack of first-team action and could be set for another move in the summer, with the Premier League a potential destination. “I’m quite happy at Dortmund. The fans are happy with me, but the problem is that I’m not considered a starter by the coach,” he told the French press. “I have been approached by Napoli, PSG and Tottenham.”
