MIAMI - The United States will face Honduras, Haiti and Grenada in the group stage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the regional championship for North and Central America and the Caribbean.
The U.S., defending champions and tournament hosts, will kick off their Group B campaign on July 4, American Independence Day, in Seattle against Grenada.
Four-times Gold Cup winners Mexico are in Group C with Guadeloupe, Nicaragua and Panama.
Canada and Jamaica will do battle in a tough-looking Group A along with El Salvador and Costa Rica.
The Canadians and Jamaicans will open the tournament at the Hoe Depot Centre in Los Angeles, CONCACAF said in a statement.
The final will played at Giants Stadium in New York on July 26.comments
