ASUNCION - Paraguay goalkeeper Justo Villar is hoping to leave Spanish club Real Valladolid to get more game time after being largely confined to the bench this season.
Villar said Paraguay coach Gerardo Martino was also worried about his lack of match practice looking ahead to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
"I will try to leave in December to get some (playing) minutes," Villar told reporters, according to the club's website.
"Ahead of me is a World Cup and it's not the same to arrive standing still as with rhythm of competition."
Paraguay beat Argentina 1-0 last week to join Brazil as the first two countries from South America to book their places at the World Cup.
