WAGs hit back at Scolari remarks

The nation’s WAGs have united to launch a stunning attack on Chelsea manager Luis Felipe Scolari, claiming football would be ‘boring’ without them. The former Brazil and Portugal boss last week claimed that professional players should spurn the advances of fame-seeking glamour girls and “settle down with a nice quiet girl instead.” Unsurprisingly the WAGs disagree, with Krystell Sidwell, wife of occasional Aston Villa midfielder Steve, telling the Star: “Being a WAG is not a negative thing. They are very career-driven, like their husbands and boyfriends.” Lizzie Cundy, wife of former Chelsea and Spurs midfielder Jason, added: “Football is boring without WAGs – that’s why we make the front pages. People are interested in them whether Phil Scolari likes it or not.” She added: “Girls like me, Cheryl Cole, Coleen Rooney, Abbey Clancy and Nicola McLean all have our own careers and don’t just live on our husbands’ money. You only have to look at the sales of magazines like OK! to see how much people love reading about them.” Check out a while gaggle of WAGs on Talentspotter’s WAG Hotlist
