He may currently be one of the most exciting youngsters in English football, but Arsenal’s winged wonder Theo Walcott appears set for an extended spell on the bench. Well, not quite. The 20-year old’s voice has been recorded as part of a 'sound bench' in London’s Regent's Park. Simply pressing a button will generate Walcott's musings on the joys of park football, with the former Southampton starlet's tones one of five ‘super sub’ voices available to listen to on the seat. The aim of the bench is to help people appreciate the park in a different way. It was created using Lottery funding by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and The Royal Parks.
