Zamora suffers dislocated collarbone

LONDON - Fulham's in-form striker Bobby Zamora faces an injury layoff after dislocating his collarbone in Tuesday's 3-2 Premier League defeat to Stoke City.

The London club said on their website that medical checks had confirmed the injury and updates would follow.

Manager Roy Hodgson, whose side are ninth in the league, told the BBC that team mate Andy Johnson took three weeks to return after a similar injury.

"Having said that, for the injury to heal fully it takes longer because as a forward you're always being buffeted around and you can't protect it as well as you would like," added Hodgson.
