Ian's guide to becoming a deadly finisher

Alexis Sanchez and Oliver Giroud may be the hotshots around Emirates Stadium these days but they've still some catching up to do with resident legend Ian Wright, who shared his goalscoring secrets with FFT ahead of the Barclays Asia Trophy.

The former Gunner and England international scored 185 goals in 288 appearances between 1991 and 1998, turning himself into a fan favourite as he fired his club to Premier League glory in his final season at Highbury.

And speaking as part of a troupe comprising Graham Stuart and Mamady Sidibe that landed on Singapore shores before Arsenal, Everton and Stoke City kick off in the Barclays Asia Trophy, Wright shared eight solid, simple goalscoring tips that will never go out of style.

The Barclays Asia Trophy will be played on the 15th and 18th of July at the National Stadium, with tickets already going on sale at the Singapore Sports Hub.
