Singaporeans Abroad: Safuwan finds form, two national stalwarts injured

While the Singapore national team went on a training tour in Japan, five Singaporeans based overseas were not called up, mainly due to club duties. How did they fare in their respective leagues? FourFourTwo takes a look.. 

Hariss Harun (Johor Darul Ta'zim)

The central midfielder appeared in five of the Southern Tiger's six matches over a two-week period.

The Singapore international was left out of the win against Sarawak in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) but it was largely down to Mario Gomez' rotation policy.

Hariss has formed an excellent partnership with club captain Safiq Rahim in the heart of midfield and their partnership is the envy of almost every other team.
