Top 10: Malaysian Super League youngsters to watch out for in 2015

Ahmad Muzammil looks at several young players who could make a name for themselves in the Malaysian Super League this year...

Norhakim Isa, 22, Perak

A product of the Perak youth system, Norhakim was promoted to the senior team at the age of 19 after winning the 2012 President’s Cup. Despite his relatively young age, he possesses every quality you need in a central midfielder as he is capable of dribbling past defenders, passing the ball with flair, and shooting accurately with his strong left foot. Having scored three goals in 10 league starts for Perak last season and helped his side avoid relegation, he is set to become one of their stand-out performers this year.

Norhakim Isa (#35) and Ridzuan Azly (#11) starred for Perak last year

Ridzuan Azly, 23, Perak

Just like Norhakim Isa, Ridzuan has benefitted from Perak’s policy of giving talented young players chances to impress in the senior team as he notched 17 league appearances last season. With his blistering pace and dribbling ability, the 2012 President’s Cup winner is one of the most dangerous wingers in the league.
