Home and Geylang dominate SOS Cup squad

The Sultan of Selangor’s Cup squad has been announced, with Home United and Geylang International players dominating the list.

No Tampines player was selected, presumably because of the vital AFC Cup match they have with Selangor next Tuesday.

In total, 11 players from Home were selected by Singapore Selection head coach Philippe Aw.

Four players were called up from Geylang International, while Hougang United featured two players - M Anumanthan and Stipe Plazibat.

Bottom-of-the-league Garena Young Lions were also represented by Fareez Farhan.

The foreign contingent comprised Ken Ilso, Sirina Camara, Song Ui-young and Plazibat.

The Singapore Selection will take on a Selangor Selection side on May 7 at the Shah Alam Stadium.
