The Singapore Cricket Club International Soccer Sixes returns for a seventh year, with Lee Sharpe set to make an appearance at the tournament.
More than 30 teams from around the region are set to descend on the Padang over the weekend of 31 January to 1 February, with participants competing in three categories – Youth, Open and Masters.
S.League teams who have confirmed their participation to this year's event include Geylang International and Home United, while there are also teams from Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.
The Masters tournament has also been expanded to from 12 to 16 teams this year, with the increased number of teams set to add extra excitement to a popular category that often involves famous football names from the past.
While former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour graced last year's event, it will be ex-Manchester United star Lee Sharpe's turn to lace up his boots for the CLA All-Stars, a team which will also include recently retired Singapore international Aleksandar Duric.
That's not to say eyes will not also be on the Youth and Open categories, with the tournament's aim to spot up-and-coming local talent and give them a platform to showcase their skills.
