Brunei DPMM FC head coach Steve Kean has denied that strikers Rodrigo Tosi and Roy O’Donovan are leaving the S.League club anytime soon.
Rumours had linked the on-form duo with a move to Thai Premier League side BEC Tero Sasana FC, but their coach was quick to put an end to such speculation.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, he indicated his desire to hold on to both strikers while admitting that the club had yet to receive any offers.
“Yes, 100 percent,” said Kean when asked if the club were looking to hold on to the pair.
“We’ve had no contact from any clubs, and even if we did, we will be rejecting all offers.
“We’ll be looking to keep the squad together.”
The former Blackburn coach also added that no amount of money was enough to prise his players away.
Recent media speculation on both Tosi and O’Donovan's futures come as no surprise given that they have been on fire so far this season.
Tosi, 30, leads the S.League goal-scorers chart with 12 goals while striker partner O’Donovan, 29, trails him by just one.
While the front men both failed to score in the 1-0 defeat to Warriors FC on Thursday evening, they are still deemed as vital players to DPMM as the club sits top of the S.League, 4 points from their nearest challengers.
