Selangor striker Paulo Rangel has issued an ultimatum to his club after failing to pay his salary for three months.
The Brazilian signed a new contract with the club after helping Selangor to finish second in the 2014 Malaysian Super League.
“I am very sad with what Selangor [are] doing this to me after all I’ve done for this team this season,” he ranted on his Instagram account.
“This joy [of signing a new contract] has turned into sadness because until now they have not paid me what they promised me on the day I signed."
He also apologised to the Selangor fans and revealed that “the vast majority do not know the problems that are happening off the field.”
“It is with great sadness that I come to inform all my fans who support me and respect my work especially to all the Selangor fans that [if] my situation is not resolved until next week, I will look for for a [new] team that respect and value my work.
“Selangor have always been great, but they need to resolve small details that [can] plague an entire season.”comments
