There might be no Alexis Sanchez or Danny Welbeck, but Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech are among the big drawcards as Arsenal's 25-man squad arrive in Singapore next week.
Cech is set to make his Arsenal debut at this Barclays Asia Trophy tournament, after moving from London rivals Chelsea earlier this month for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper is a Premier League veteran, having made just under 500 appearances for the Blues and wiining several major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League in 2012.
He could very well be the missing piece in an Arsenal defence that will likely see Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin line up in front of him.
Everton, Stoke City and a Singapore Select XI are also taking part in the biennial event, which kicks off on July 15.
Wilshere could also have the chance to impose himself in Singapore following a strong finish last season after returning from injury.
The England international impressed against Slovenia in June, scoring two excellent goals, and will be keen to bring that form into pre-season as he looks to give manager Arsene Wenger a selection headache.
Also making the trip down to Singapore are playmaker extraordinaire Ozil, speedster Theo Walcott, box-to-box midfielder Aaron Ramsey, returning full-back Mathieu Debuchy, as well as twinkle-toed assist king Santi Cazorla.
Arsenal fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the future will also be happy to learn that several youngsters are in the touring party.
Highly-rated midfielders Gedion Zelalem, Dan Crowley and Jeff Reine-Adelaide are joined by strikers Chuba Akpom, Alex Iwobi and Chris Willock as they look to follow in the footsteps of Arsenal Academy graduate Bellerin and break into the first team.
Danny Welbeck and Tomasz Rosicky will sit out the trip as they continue their rehabilitation from injuries back in England, while Sanchez, David Ospina and Serge Gnabry are still on extended holidays after international duty last month.
