Strong Juventus squad to light up Singapore

Italian giants Juventus have named a strong squad for their match against a Singapore Select on August 16, with Andrea Pirlo, Gianluigi Buffon and Carlos Tevez among a star-studded lineup.

The 28-man squad boasts 11 players who took part in the 2014 World Cup, with Italian squad members Giorgio Chiellini and Claudio Marchisio being joined by the likes of French midfielder Paul Pogba and Chilean star turn Arturo Vidal.

New signing Patrice Evra will also be on the plane to Singapore, after moving from English Premier League heavyweights Manchester United in the off-season.

Juventus will take on Indonesia in Jakarta on Wednesday and the A-League All-Stars in Sydney on Sunday, before the Serie A champions arrive in Singapore for the game against Bernd Stange and his Singapore Select side.

Tickets to the Singapore match - priced from S$45 to S$180 for adults and S$30 to S$45 for children – are still on sale at Sports Hub Tix (www.sportshubtix.sg) in the lead up to the game.
