Singapore's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Afghanistan and Cambodia will be played at the Sports Hub, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has confirmed.
The Lions are currently sitting in second place in Group E, with the eight group winners and four best group runners-up advancing to the third round of AFC (Asian Football Confederation) World Cup qualification.
Bernd Stange's men have a real chance of progressing after a 4-0 win over Cambodia and a 0-0 draw with Japan to go with the narrow 1-0 loss to Syria last week.
Home games against Afghanistan (October 8) and Cambodia (October 13) are next on the agenda for Singapore, with the Lions favourites to take all six points on offer after a difficult stretch of away fixtures.
"We are excited to be playing our next home matches at the wonderful Sports Hub," Stange said.
"It is a world class stadium and we are looking forward to being able to play there.
"The team has been performing well in the past few matches and I hope all Singaporeans will come down to support the boys who have been working incredibly hard.
"A full stadium of 55,000 cheering Singaporeans can be our secret weapon in these matches."
Tickets to both matches went on sale today, Tuesday 8 September at 12pm, with an early bird discount of 20 per cent valid until Monday 28 September.
A full-priced single-match Category 1 ticket will set fans back S$38, while a Category 2 ticket will cost S$28.
Supporters can also opt for a two-match bundle at S$50 for Category 1 and S$36 for Category 2.
Singapore supporters can purchase tickets by going to sportshubtix.sg, calling the hotline at +65 6333 5000/+65 3158 7888 or visiting the Singapore Indoor Stadium box office or any SingPost outlet islandwide.comments
