To be at your best in every training session, every gym workout, and most importantly every game, you need to make sure your recovery routine is spot on.
Food is essential to this process. The average Sunday League footballer usually recovers with a handful of painkillers, a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. That might help ease the hangover pain, but it won’t help your muscles repair.
