Match sold out? Want to go? Don’t worry, because with Ticketbis you can get into your favourite grounds without the hassle of gambling outside them.

You can either buy or sell tickets there, and the best part is that they’ll hold your money until after the event to make sure they’re legit. If you’re lucky enough to be holding a spare, you simply choose your price and get it listed. When a buyer is found, you get emailed – and when the event passes, you get the money. Easy.

So which matches in October are catching the eye? Well, first of all there’s more Champions League football on the horizon – and where Arsenal are concerned those games are becoming more crucial with every matchday. Next up they face the small matter of Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium on October 20, tickets available from £123.10 to see Pep Guardiola’s destroyers aiming to ply Robert Lewandowski with more misery-spreading ammunition. A day later Manchester City take on Sevilla in what could be a huge battle for second place in Group D; tickets are available from £54.91.

If you fancy jetting off out of Blighty then Manchester United’s return to the city of their 2008 Ol’ Big Ears success could tempt when they face CSKA Moscow. Tickets from £62. Plus, there’s a titanic clash at the Parc des Princes that evening when PSG host Real Madrid; currently available from £141.30.

If it’s Premier League football you’re after, then start with Tottenham’s lunchtime kick-off against Liverpool on October 17; from £97.27. With both sides pushing for the top four, sparks are sure to fly in a fixture that produced eight goals in two games last season. Elsewhere that weekend, Wayne Rooney returns to Everton’s Goodison Park with Manchester United; tickets for that currently from £67.18.

East meets west on October 24 when West Ham host Chelsea aiming to add the Blues to their illustrious list of scalps for the season. On current form they just might, what with Jose’s boys still falling from the top like an elephant tripping over its own feet. Want to be at Upton Park for it? A ticket’s yours from £99.06. Elsewhere, Arsenal meet Everton at the Emirates; available from £91.43.

The following day sees Liverpool host a Southampton side whose players they plucked like flower petals in summer 2014. You can get in from £89.52 to see if the Reds can stick it out. Then there’s the small matter of Manchester United’s hosting of arch rivals City at Old Trafford, hoping to repeat last season’s 4-2 romp that helped confirm their neighbours’ failure as title candidates. Tickets from £145.62.

On October 31 Manchester United head to Crystal Palace hoping to show they’ve got what it takes to prove themselves as title candidates at Selhurst Park. Watch Louis van Gaal’s lot try to do it from £116.
