FFT’s MSL Team of the Month: September

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

D. Kenny Pallraj

The former national youth player has grown strength to strength under Perak coach Karl-Heinz Weigang.

The lanky 26-year-old, who started his career as a defender, is more confident moving forward and creating scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Kenny could soon be representing Malaysia if he continues to make progress.

Kedah took their winning run to six matches in September and Krasniqi has been at the centre of all the action.

The Red Eagles are reaping the benefits of having the Kosovan playmaker in the squad.

Krasniqi is calm, composed, dominates opponents and is a striker’s dream teammate to have playing just behind them.

Shane Smeltz and Thiago Fernandes have been in free-scoring form thanks to Krasniqi.

Fakhrul Aiman Sidid

The winger had a fruitful September with two goals in as many appearances for Police. Signed by PDRM from Malaysian Premier League side DRB-Hicom in June, the 27-year-old is a versatile player, who can play as a striker or a winger.

He is quick and skillful, and can beat any defenders on his day. His penetrative runs and quality crosses have helped Police earn crucial points in their goal to avoid relegation.

Amirul Hadi Zainal

Though normally not a regular, Amirul had more game time in September.

JDT’s AFC Cup commitments saw Mario Gomez rotating the Southern Tigers squad. Amirul scored the opener in the club’s emphatic 5-1 win over T-Team.
