FourFourTwo’s MSL preview, Round 4

Defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) aim to set the record straight against Felda United at Larkin Stadium while Selangor entertain K Rajagobal’s Sarawak in their makeshift home venue in Selayang

Selangor vs Sarawak

Tue March 1 | Selayang Stadium | 9pm

Last meeting: Selangor 1 Sarawak 1 (Nov 28, 2015; Malaysia

Player to watch: Patrick Wleh

Billed as: Rajagobal’s search for first Sarawak win

Summary: Selangor play their first home match of the season and it will not be at their traditional Shah Alam ground, which is still closed for repairs.

The Red Giants, who have won their following two matches after the draw with JDT on the opening day, are still without several regulars Robert Cornthwaite and Ahmad Hazwan Bakri, but new signing Razman Roslan and R Gopinathan are showing signs of gelling into the squad.

Upfront, Patrick Wleh is surely feeling confident after his brace against Pahang. Sarawak also have strikers in Ndumba Makache and Gilmar Jose da Silva, both of whom have found their goalscoring boots in recent matches and are riding high.

Sarawak are difficult to beat but this match may come too soon to be their first win of the season.

FFT Prediction: Selangor 2 Sarawak 1
