Kelantan(6) vs Johor Darul Ta'zim(1)

Fri Apr 8 | Sultan Mohamad IV Stadium | 9pm

Last meeting: Kelantan 4 JDT 1 (Aug 15, 2015; MSL)

Player to watch: Blaze Ilijoski (Kelantan)

Billed as: JDT’s revenge mission

Summary: The last time JDT visited Kota Bahru, they were humiliated by the Red Warrior.

But make no mistake, the Southern Tigers are unlikely to feel threatened this time round.

Mario Gomez’s men are in fine form, having won five in six league outings since being held by Selangor on the opening day, while Kelantan lost 4-2 against T-Team on Tuesday.

Devan’s side, like in the previous couple of seasons, are looking far from consistent, but this Kelantan side simply do not possess the qualities required to stun JDT, unless Gomez decides to rest several key players ahead of travelling to Laos for the AFC Cup next week.

Kelantan do boast of Blaze Ilijoski, who has scored five times in the MSL, but he is far from a game changer.
