The Malaysians who took a step backwards

We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

Shahrizan Salleh (Shahzan Muda)

A member of Pahang’s 2013 and 2014 Malaysia Cup winning squads, Shahrizan has probably seen his last days as a top-flight player.

Shahrizan turns 35 this month and will return to Kuantan-based Shahzan Muda, where he played for a couple of season before his second stint at Pahang.

Adib Aizuddin Abdul Latif (Terengganu)

Never a big-name player, but Adib has the utmost trust of Irfan Bakti, so much so the pair have stuck together through three teams.

Irfan signed Adib from PKNS when he was Selangor’s boss in 2012 and he later took the defender to Felda and now to Terengganu.

The 30-year-old left-back will hope he can return to the top flight if Terengganu are successful with their promotion bid.
