Melaka have also signed 28-year-old Belarus forward Zubovich, who has never played in Asia, and Singapore international Shahdan. Shahdan, who is a central midfielder, is no stranger to the MSL having played for LionsXII in the 2012 and 2015 editions of the league.

Negeri have confirmed that their German technical director Jorg Peter Steinebrunner will take charge of the team on their top-flight return.

There are no updates on the Perak squad. The Bos Gaurus are only expected to confirm three new foreign players next week.

There havs been talk of Misagh Bahadoran joining Mehmet Durakovic but the club have refused to reveal who they were in talks with until pen is put to paper.
