The Baihakki Khaizan collapsed deal has left a bitter taste with the City Boys and they may now not fill up their ASEAN player slot altogether.

The former Singapore international was in the midst of packing things to Kuala Lumpur when he got a call from Thai giants Muangthong United, and there was only one outcome.

Baihakki went on record confirming the approach but till the Thai club has announced his signing, one can never rule out KL wrangling back the move, should it be sanctioned by coach Fabio Maciel.
