‘Nasi dagang’ or no deal, says Nakajima-Farran
Since joining the club in April, the Canadian international has become a key player for the Turtles.
He finished the league season on a high note, netting eight goals in his final seven matches.
Due to his impressive form, the East Coast side are keen on extending his contract beyond the current season.
However, the winger is driving a hard bargain, demanding a lifetime supply of ‘nasi dagang’ to be inserted in the new contract.
“I love it, as you can clearly see from the numerous videos I have done,” the Canada international told FFT. “I just cannot get enough of it.
“In fact, I love it more than pancakes with bacon and maple syrup or poutine.
“It is even better than the Hainanese chicken rice I always had when I was playing in the S.League.
“So, unless Terengganu offer me a lifetime supply of ‘nasi dagang’, I will not sign a new contract with the club.”
With contract talks having reached a stalemate, Perak are reportedly trying to entice him with ‘nasi ganja’.
