With neat precision, England’s six ever-present clubs in the Premier League era – Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man United and Tottenham – each hit exactly 1,000 games at the end of last season.

The Old Trafford side have the best record across those 26 seasons, as you might expect, but can you name the players who’ve played the most matches in that time? One Welsh winger has even played the majority of those games, having featured in an incredible 632 matches.

That’s a fairly easy answer, we imagine, but it gets a bit trickier as you go on.
