Real in for Fekir

The Mirror reported that Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas claims that Real Madrid want to sign their forward Nabil Fekir.

The 24-year-old, who was in talks with Liverpool, saw a deal break down due to a past cruciate ligament injury.

The Frenchman, who made 39 appearances last season, scored 23 goals in total for the Ligue 1 club.

City want Boateng reunion

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester City are interested in making a move for Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng.

The German international defender, who will be available for between €50million to €60million, is also a target for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The 29-year-old, who has previously worked with current manager Pep Guardiola, won the FA Cup with City back in 2011.

Liverpool tipped to sign Shaqiri

The Express wrote that Liverpool are tipped to do a deal for Stoke City star Xherdan Shaqiri after pulling the plug for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir.

The Swiss international winger is said to be available for just £12 million due to a relegation clause in his contract with the Potters.

The 26-year-old, who made 38 appearances for the relegated EPL club, bagged eight goals last season.

Gerrard interested in Sadiq

Rangers are looking to sign AS Roma’s Umar Sadiq as new boss Steven Gerrard looks to bolster his striking options according to Sky Sports.

The Scottish Premiership side hope to secure the 21-year-old Nigerian on a season-long loan, but no deal has been reached yet.

Striker Sadiq, who spent last season on loan at NAC Breda, scored five goals in 12 appearances for the Eredivisie club.

Lenglet yet to decide future

Highly sought-after Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet has yet to make a decision about his future according to his agent.

Goal stated that the 23-year-old defender, who has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, gained many admirers with his Champions League form last season.

The Frenchman, who is a key player having made 35 appearances for the La Liga club last season, cost just €5 million.
