Abdul Rahman takes a break

According to Terengganu’s official website, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim has taken a break from coaching the team.

He applied for a leave for an indefinite length of time, which was granted by the Terengganu management on Monday.

His assistant, Ahmad Yusof, has been tasked to take charge of the upcoming league matches against Sarawak and Sime Darby.

It is unknown if Ahmad will take charge of the team for the rest of the league season.

The reason behind Abdul Rahman's leave application was also not revealed, but it is believed due to the mounting pressure on the former Malaysia head coach.

Despite starting the season positively, the Turtles are now winless in six league matches and lying just four points away from the drop zone.
