Malaysian buys England great David Platt's former club Bari
Bari stated in a statement that they came to a preliminary agreement with Dr Noordin on April 8.
The news will be welcomed by all stakeholders involved, as it allows the team to refocus on the league instead of off-field distractions. The club had been declared bankrupt in 2014 and has been battling to stay afloat.
Bari are currently in third place in Serie B with 57 points from 35 games and are well on course to make the playoffs for promotion to make it to Serie A.
Bari, or the Galletti as they are nicknamed, once held the British transfer record after purchasing David Platt.
The former England midfielder cost them £5.5 million (S$10.6 million) to join from Aston Villa and he made significant impact at Bari by scoring 11 goals in 29 games.
