TMJ tells officials 'don't get comfortable' after being installed FAM president

Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have voted who will work with their new president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim after delegates voted for a new top brass, including voting out favourite Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah, but the Crown Prince of Johor was quick to give them a timely reminder.

Tunku Ismail warned FAM affiliates and his executive committee to follow his momentum in charting the future of Malaysian football.

"Don't feel comfortable," he told the delegates in his speech at the Congress.

"Remember your duties and that football belongs to the people ... we are serving them.

"Remember your duties and that football belongs to the people ... we are serving them. I demand integrity, professionalism and dedication. I will be observing at all times. Let's get to work!"

FAM voted almost a completely new executive committee line-up at the Congress.

Only newly elected deputy president Datuk Yusoff Mahadi and vice-president Datuk S. Sivasundram were part of the Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah adminstration.
