Portuguese champions Porto have rejected an offer for highly-rated forward Hulk, according to the player's agent. The 22-year-old enjoyed a productive first season in Europe in 2008/09 after arriving from Tokyo Verdy, netting eight league goals in 24 outings to help Jesualdo Ferreira's side secure the title. While the Brazilian also impressed in the Champions League as the Dragons reached the quarter-final stage, narrowly losing to eventual runners-up Manchester United. Both Arsenal - who met Porto in last season's Champions League group phase - and Manchester City are now believed to be interested in bringing the powerful front-man to English shores. And Hulk's agent, Teodoro Fonseca, has revealed an offer has been received and rejected by the Estádio do Dragão outfit. "Porto have rejected an offer for Hulk and will only consider a bid of at least €40million," he said. "Big clubs from Europe are interested in Hulk, but he is very content in Portugal. "I do not believe it will be likely that Porto will accept a sale this summer."
