Former England midfielder Darren Anderton marked the last match of his career by scoring the winner for League Two side Bournemouth on Saturday. The 36-year-old, who won 30 caps, was playing in his 569th game and scored in the 88th minute against Chester City to hand the south-coast club a 1-0 win. Anderton made his debut for Portsmouth in 1990 before spending 12 years at Tottenham Hotspur followed by moves to Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
