LONDON - Chelsea made their second transfer swoop in two days when they signed Manchester City striker Daniel Sturridge on a free on Friday. "Daniel Sturridge has agreed to join on a four-year contract," the FA Cup winners said on their website. The 19-year-old scored four times in 26 appearances last season and was voted City's young player of the year.
