MILAN - Serie B leaders Bari won promotion to the Italian top flight on Friday without even playing. Third-placed Livorno lost 1-0 at home to Triestina and with three games left they trail Bari by 11 points. The southern club, coached by former Juventus midfielder Antonio Conte, return to Serie A for the first time since 2001. Following his success this season, Conte has been linked in the media with several Serie A clubs including Juve, whose coach Claudio Ranieri is under pressure after a poor run of results. Second-placed Parma, who host Pisa on Saturday, have a six-point lead over Livorno and are on course to make an immediate return to Serie A via the second automatic promotion spot. Teams who finish third, fourth, fifth and sixth will be involved in a playoff for the final promotion berth.
