Werder Bremen midfielder Diego insists he is fully focussed on ending the season on a high with the Bundesliga club, despite reports that he is on the verge of a move. The talented Brazilian has been linked with moves to several of European football's big-hitters, including Manchester City, while Bremen recently revealed Juventus have contacted the club about the playmaker. However, the player himself is adament he is going nowhere at present and is thinking of nothing other than Bremen's upcoming finals in both the German and UEFA Cup, having eliminated Hamburg in the semi-finals of both competitions. "I am a Werder Bremen player," he told his personal website. "We have secured a place in the UEFA Cup final and we are in the final of the German Cup. That is what I'm thinking at this time. "The club has the power to decide, and then only after I decide what is best for me and my career. But in time, there are conversations between managers and agents and I am not involved in those discussions. "I am anxious to help Werder to win the two titles that we are disputing and end the Bundesliga in the best situation possible."
