ATHENS - Former Serbia international Predrag Djordjevic is to retire at the end of the season, according to an announcement he made through his Greek club, Olympiakos Piraeus. "This decision of mine was particularly difficult, as football, at the top level or otherwise, has offered me some very strong and special feelings," the 36-year-old midfielder told the club's website. Djordjevic won 38 caps for Yugoslavia and then Serbia and Montenegro, whom he represented at the 2006 World Cup. His finest performances, however, came in club soccer, especially for Olympiakos whom he joined in 1996. He has helped them win 12 league titles in the last 13 years, including this season, and the Greek Cup four times.
